I’m a new aunt - of sorts! Hubby’s best friend/cousin and his wife just had a baby boy yesterday!
We welcome Dylan at 7 lbs 11 oz. I don’t know long he is yet but I just got this picture today and wanted to share the joy of a new life. I’m so excited that I’m crying again! Lil D will be the closest I will have to a nephew -unless my sister gets in gear- so I’m claiming Aunthood and proudly calling myself Tia. LOL.

My mother in law [MIL] needed a break and recently took a trip to Canada accompanied by a friend’s Aunt for company.
For her it was high adventure thousands of miles away… But back here at home it’s been a different story. While she’s been gone: I killed her fish. Her room full of exotic orchids look like they’ve given up the ghost. Surprisingly, the birds have survived but I don’t know if they could make it a day longer!
The entire episode kind of makes me wonder how I’ve managed to raise 3 children! Thank God they don’t need fertilization!
Thankfully MIL comes home today - the kids can’t wait to hug her. Baby A. cried every time grandma talked to her on the phone. We all missed her much more than expected and welcome her back with open arms… and dead fish.
